PADI FREEDIVE – on request
Control, discipline, and inner strength are key components in freediving. Freediving is the perfect activity for you if you’ve ever desired to get into the water discreetly, on your own schedule, and explore as lengthy as your breathing permits.
To enroll in the PADI Freediver course:
- Be at least 12 years old.
- Possess sufficient swimming abilities and be in decent physical condition.
- Freediving, skin diving, or snorkeling experience is not necessary.
3 main phases to the PADI Freediver course:
- Acquire knowledge about the fundamentals of freediving through PADI Freediver eLearning, independent study.
- Confined water session for learning static and dynamic apnea and breathhold skills. The target is 90 seconds of static apnea and 25 meters/80 feet of dynamic apnea.
- Practice constant weight freedives, free immersion, and appropriate buddy techniques in open water sessions. Objective: a steady weight-freedive of 10 meters or thirty feet.
